6. Custom Fields

The Custom Fields module enables team administrators to extend the platform’s default user profiles with custom attributes tailored to their organization’s specific needs.

This feature allows teams to capture additional member information beyond the standard fields, resulting in enriched user profiles that support better member categorization, reporting, and team-specific data management.

Core Functionality:

1. Field Management Interface

Displays all defined custom fields in a structured table view, showing key details such as:

  • - Field name and description

  • - Creation date

  • - Configuration and visibility settings

This provides admins with a clear overview of all active custom attributes within member profiles.

2. Field Creation

Admins can create new custom fields by defining:

  • - Field name and type (Text, Number, Date, Dropdown, etc.)

  • - Description and helper text

  • - Validation rules (Required/Optional)

  • - Visibility permissions (who can view/edit the field)

Once created, these fields automatically appear in user profiles and related forms.

3. Field Configuration Options

Each custom field includes flexible configuration controls for:

  • - Field type selection (e.g., text input, dropdown, checkbox)

  • - Helper text to guide data entry

  • - Validation settings to maintain data quality

  • - Visibility control to define access by role or member type

4. Field Editing

Admins can edit existing fields to update descriptions, validation logic, or visibility rules.

The system ensures data compatibility, preventing data loss or corruption when modifying existing configurations.
